Through an interactive presentation your students will explore the evidence that objects provide about key aspects of life in Britain as part of the Roman Empire.
Themes include change and continuity, the role of the army, language, religion, trade, buildings, leisure and entertainment.
Depending on group size, your students may be joined by students from other schools.
- Ages: 11–14 (KS3)
- This session may also be suitable for some Year 10 students starting their Classical Civilisation or Ancient History GCSE and students building their cultural knowledge and understanding of the ancient Greek or Roman world.

- This session takes place in the Stevenson Lecture Theatre.
