Explore shape, pattern, colour and counting with engaging hands-on activities, creative artwork and a visit to the Museum's galleries with our exciting maths activity bags.
Students will start by using colour and shape to explore the basic principles of Boolean logic. They will then handle colourful beadwork objects and create their own patterns inspired by the objects. The session encourages students to develop and apply their mathematical vocabulary while the maths activity bags offer a hands-on opportunity to discover colour, shape, number and pattern across the Museum. During the session students will blend creativity and maths to produce artworks which can be taken back to school to create an instant display.
