Description
Dish with narrow rim, pronounced foot ring. Yellow-buff earthenware, tin-glazed front and back. Painted on the front with the Judgement of Paris; to the right a river god; in the sky Jupiter, Apollo, Victory and other figures. After an engraving by Marcantonio. `Egg-and-dart' pattern round the edge. On the reverse, yellow lines round edges of rim and foot-ring. Glaze has run inside the foot-ring.
